Compare it to what your nonprofit already pays.
Every way of receiving donations has a processing cost. Here is ours next to card processing, the one you already know.
A donor giving appreciated stock usually wasn't going to put that gift on a card. The fee isn't replacing a cheaper option; it unlocks a gift that otherwise doesn't come.
